12,000 posters, wall paintings urge Mumbaikars to save water

BMC officials unveiled the wall paintings urging people to use water judiciously

As a part of BMC’s recently-launched Save Water Campaign, the civic body has printed and distributed around 12,000 posters in several schools, colleges, government offices and societies urging people to use water judiciously.

The posters give water saving tips like using a wet towel to clean vehicles, fixing leakages, etc. in a pictorial format.

Also, the BMC’s water department has inaugurated wall paintings at Worli urging Mumbaikars to celebrate a dry Holi.
