Being a pet parent, I’ve always wished to take my pooch along wherever I go. Knowing the constraints of this city, that’s always a daunting task. With a rising number of pet parents and pets, Mumbai is turning out to be quite the pet-friendly city. Several restaurants and cafes have started opening up their spaces for our furry friends. What’s better is that some of them even customize meals for pooches!

# One of the most popular places to explore is Gostana situated in Bandra. They also whip up special treats for their four-legged customers, if informed in advance.

# One can also visit Bandra’s The Bagel Shop that allows dogs to lounge in their outdoor area.

While planning a day out with your pooch, do take into consideration the timings that some restaurants have for getting dogs along.

# Oshiwara’s Woodside Inn is open to pets from Monday to Friday between 11.30 and 5.30. They have a lovely outdoor section for your pet and also allow you to carry food for them.

# Leaping Windows in Andheri also welcomes pets at any time in its outside dining space.

# The latest entrant in the list is Vile Parle’s Zoo Café that is open to pets from 2pm to 7pm every day. They have a special menu for your dog too.

# If you stay in South Mumbai, head to Moshe’s at Cuffe Parade and enjoy a sumptuous meal with your pet in their cozy outdoor section.

# Plan a get together with a group of friends and pooches & Loca Loca at Khar would be happy to host you with prior bookings.

# There’s also a special pet café where the mutt comes first. Mutt Hutt café is a pop up restaurant, that pops up regularly at different locations and has various treats to get your dog drooling. They also host a number of fun events like dog birthdays. Can it get any better! It’s heartening to see so many places welcoming our furry mates & we wish that this number keeps rising and those tails keep wagging.
