1. In recent times, rumours of Deepika Padukone being offered a role opposite Salman Khan in Kabir Khan’s next were followed by rumours claiming she had quit the movie.

2. While rumours are rife that Deepika quit the film owing to the lack of a good role, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan director denies even approaching the actress for his next film, Tubelight.

3. While speaking to ANI Kabir said that he never spoke to the actress about the film and the earlier news of Deepika starring opposite Salman was a rumour.

4. The director further added that so far Salman Khan is the only lead for the film and once the female lead is final, he will be glad to break the news.

5. While expressing excitement about his next, the director said that it is a territory that he and Salman have not ventured into yet.
