Shane Watson announces his retirement from International cricket post WT20

Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has announced his retirement from international cricket post ongoing ICC World T20.

The 34- year- old batsmen, however, will continue to play domestic Twenty20 tournaments and feature in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Watson retired from Test cricket last year, and has not played ODIs since September 2015.

The big-hitting all rounder has played three World Cup tournaments lifting the trophy with the Australian team in 2001 and 2015. Watson has represented Australia in 59 Tests, 190 ODIs and 56 T20s Internationals so far.

Shane Watson decided to call it quits with the international cricket 14 years to the day after he first played for Australia.
Australian team will be facing Pakistan and India on 25th and 27th respectively in the ongoing World T20.
