Flyover connecting Goregaon East and West thrown open for public

After a wait for six years, the 2.3-km-long flyover connecting SV Road and the Western Express Highway (WEH) in Goregaon has been thrown open for public since yesterday.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated the flyover that was built after removing over 358 structures and huts that came in its way.

The flyover was built at a cost of over Rs 250 crore and will be named after late socialist leader Mrinal Gore.
