Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

An image can speak a thousand words, but often times, it can leave you with more questions than answers.

In one such case, the picture Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) head and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal donning a flower hat on his visit to Goa managed just that.

The AAP chief is visiting the state to portray their party’s commitment to the upcoming 2017 Goa Assembly polls. Kejriwal met the fishermen community in Vasco and offered relief from the ‘corrupt Congress and BJP’.

Kejriwal was also quoted saying, “What happened in Delhi will happen in Goa. People have seen that BJP and Congress are two faces of the same coin. Earlier people did not have an alternative, but now they have. And we have seen it in Delhi. Even in Delhi we had said that we will not let people’s’ livelihood get affected.”

He also added, “I have come here to meet the fishermen and listen to their problems. The Aam Aadmi party is not a party but a movement against corruption. It is a movement for the rights of common people. These people are raising issues related to their livelihood. They are saying that illegal dredging and other issues are affecting their lives.”

Unfortunately for the Delhi CM, his remarks faded in comparison to his floral tiara, with the latter being the talking point of his visit.
