While India’s neighboring country is still reeling under the terror attack that claimed the lives of twenty innocent people, the holy month of Ramadan has brought communities closer back home.

In a stellar example of communal harmony, the Sikh Community of Lucknow organised an iftar party for their fasting Muslim brothers at Gurudwara Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji in Yahiyaganj, Lucknow on June 30.

Hundreds of Muslim men sat in queue inside the Gurudwara’s premises, while the Sikh volunteers served them with fresh and dry fruits to end their day long fast.
