While incessant rains continue to lash certain parts of the city, here’s an update on the train, traffic, bus and tides as of 12 pm Thursday, September 22.

Trains:

# Western Railway trains running late by 5-10 minutes
# Trains in main lines on Central Railways running 20-25 minutes late
# Harbour line locals from Vashi to CST running 10 mins behind schedule

Roads/Traffic:

# Bumper to Bumper traffic from Aarey to Hub Mall
# Bumper to Bumper traffic on Sion-Panvel highway towards Belapur
# Heavy traffic towards Shilphata from Dombivali Manpada
# Slow moving traffic at JVLR near Eastern Express Highway towards LBS Marg
# Western Express Highway partially jammed between Bandra and Santacruz
# Slow moving traffic towards Sakinaka Metro from Saki Vihar Road and Chandivali Farm Road
# Bumper to Bumper at Gulmohar Road Juhu near Club Millennium towards Mithibai College
# Bumper to Bumper traffic near Star Bazaar Andheri towards JVPD Circle Juhu
# All roads out of Thane towards Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Nashik are jammed
# Traffic jam at various sections of Mumbai-Pune expressway
# Kharghar to Belapur Highway jammed, motorists advised to take Utsav Chowk if travelling towards Mumbai

Flooding:

Flooding has been reported at SV Road in Bandra (W), Parel, dadar, Borivali, Andheri, Elphinstone, Vasai (E) and Vasai (W).

Buses:

BEST has diverted buses on 35 routes in 7 areas due to water logging this morning. Details below:

High Tide:

High Tide at 15:56 p.m, 3.83 meter high waves.

The forecast from the IMD for Thursday says, “Intermittent rain or a shower is likely to occur in city and suburbs. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places.”
