Mojo’s Bistro co-onwer Yug Tuli, who had absconding since the Kamala Mills fire incident on December 29, was finally placed under arrest by Mumbai police after he surrendered on early Tuesday morning.

The 29-year-old had been spotted at Hyderabad last week while cops were already on the lookout for him. Although he couldn’t fly out of the airport, he managed to escape the police’s clutches. Following which, multiple teams were formed to trace the hotelier.

Tuli and his partner Yug Pathak, who is already in police custody, were booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder after the fire department report concluded that the blaze originated from Mojo’s Bistro and not 1Above as believed earlier.

At the time of surrendering, Tuli acknowledged that he was left with no choice but to surrender after his bail plea was rejected. With his arrest, all main accused in the Kamala Mills fire incident, including 1Above owners, are in police custody.
