Hard Rock Cafe in Mumbai is set to auction collectibles from renowned musicians from the country on the occasion of its 10th anniversary in India.

Collectibles from noted personalities like A.R. Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, A Sivamani, Euphoria, Parikrama, Purbayan Chatterjee, Raghu Dixit, Usha Uthup and Priyanka Chopra will be up for grabs.

According to a statement, the brand has lined up 72 events, with an evening of cocktails, music and a charity ‘Bid and Buy’ on November 30.

The proceeds from auction would be donated to to Mewsic Stars, a programme under former Australian cricketer Brett Lee’s Mewsic Initiative that empowers children to pursue their music passion.

The curated event aims at rewarding passion, talent and ability among young but less fortunate children.

While Rahman has donated his studio headphones, Mahadevan has given his harmonium. Sivamani has donated his timbales drums, stand and a pair of autographed sticks.

Uthup has given her Kanjeevaram sari and microphone, Euphoria has given the bandmaster’s hat, Dixit has given his guitar and Priyanka has donated her ‘Quantico’ bracelet.

“I am so happy to donate a little something of myself to the l0th anniversary auction. It’s a great feeling of pride for me to give away one of my favourite Kanjeevaram saris and one of my first vocal microphones for Hard Rock Cafe’s 10th anniversary auction,” said Uthup.

The US-based brand opened its first restaurant at Worli in Mumbai, in November 2006. Today, it has seven restaurants operating in India, with two in Mumbai and Delhi, and one in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune.
