Fire at SV Road, Andheri (screengrabs from the video)
Mumbai witnessed its third fire related incident today after a blaze engulfed a timber shop on SV road near Amboli, Andheri West on Tuesday evening. The shop is located right next to Western Railway’s train tracks.
The fire broke out around 5:30 pm, following which three fire engines and three water tankers were dispatched to the spot. Fire fighting operations are still underway as of 6 pm.
No casualties have been reported so far and the cause of fire is not known. Further details awaited. (Updates here)
