Spread across 50,000 sqft, Zara to open India’s biggest apparel store in SoBo
Spanish fashion brand Zara is all set to create history by opening a store measuring a mammoth 50,000 sq ft. in a posh South Mumbai locality.
To be opened at Horiman Circle, it will be the country’s biggest stand-alone store ever and the luxury brand has already paid a yearly rent of Rs 30 crore for the property.
For the brand that is on an expansion spree, the latest outlet as Horiman Circle will be Zara’s fourth store in Mumbai. It already has a store in Lower Parel, Kurla and Malad respectively.
The Maximum City, which is also known as the shopping capital of India, will soon have much more high-street shopping options as H&M is looking to open doors to Mumbaiites in this year with two new stores Kurla and Lower Parel. Besides, Forever 21 too will be expanding its presence to Lower Parel by the end of 2016.
