Bhojpuri actress found begging and stealing on the roads of Lokhandwala

The Oshiwara police have found a young Bhojpuri actress begging and stealing on the roads of Lokhandwala.

Abandoned by her parents for pursuing her dreams of becoming an actor, Mitali Sharma slipped into depression after her career stalled. It is said that the 25-year-old has acted in a Bhojpuri film and snagged a couple of modelling assignments too.

She was caught by the cops while attempting to smash the window of a car in Oshiwara. Mitali assaulted the two lady officers who tried to subdue her, pushing one and biting the other before she was finally subdued.

Cops believe that Mitali had had not eaten for a couple of days as she demanded food when she was caught. According to police, Mitali is not in a normal state of mind, and she has been admitted to Thane Mental Hospital for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital say she will take at least 10 days to return to a normal state. Mitali has not spoken a word since her admission, and has been kept in a room by herself and is not allowed to meet anyone.
