A four-year-old girl fell from the fourth floor of her building in Nalasopara and succumbed to her injuries this weekend.
A nursery student, Sarika Singh lived in the Golden Palace building in Alkapuri. She was returning home from GD Ideal High School on Friday evening, and was climbing the stairs up to the fourth floor, when she bumped into some neighbours on the third floor.
The girl then leaned out of the passageway on the fourth floor to look down, and that’s when she lost her balance and fell. Eye witnesses claim that she lost balance because of her heavy school bag.
Sarika was rushed to Alliance Hospital, and was later shifted to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital where she breather her last.
The police have registered a case of accidental death.Back to latest news
