At least four persons died and two others were injured after the car they were travelling in rammed into a gas tanker on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway early morning on Friday.
According to officials, the incident took place around 4:45 am near Rasayani, close to the Khalapur toll plaza, when the car was heading towards Mumbai. The diver of the car allegedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the HP gas tanker in front of it.

The bodies were shifted to a state-run hospital for post-mortem. Meanwhile, an accidental death report has been registered by the Raisoni police station.
The victims were returning to Mumbai after attending a wedding in the Satara district of Maharashtra.
