Massive fire breaks out at Mumbai Sessions Court in Fort

A massive fire broke out in the Mumbai City and Sessions Court building in Fort early morning on Monday.
According to the BMC’s Disaster Control unit, the fire started on the third floor around of the building, located near the campus of the Mumbai University at Karamveer Bhaurao Marg, around 7 am. Fire departmend was alerted about the blaze at 7:14 am.
The blaze was escalated to Level II at 7:33 am and a total of six fire engines and four water tankers were pressed into service. The fire has been doused as of publishing this report and no casualties have been reported.
Details regarding the cause of fire are still awaited.
