Workers of MNS’ film unit stall shooting of John Abraham’s Force 2
The workers of Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) stalled the shooting of John Abraham starter Force 2 in Kandivli yesterday.
The shooting of a sequence was happening in Thakur Polytechnic College and John too was on the set when the incident happened.
The activists from the film wing of the party alleged that foreign artists that were employed by the producer didn’t have proper work permits.
The activists lodged a complaint with the local police station as well as the CID, following which police visited the film set and did a verification.
The police went through the documents of 35 foreign artists present during the shoot and assured that they will take appropriate action against them if something is amiss.
Directed by Abhinay Deo, the action-thriller, the sequel to the 2011 film “Force”, stars Sonakshi Sinha opposite John in the lead.
