Chris Brown, Major Lazer and more to set the stage ablaze at IPL 9 opening

Chris Brown, Major Lazer, Ranveer Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are all set to perform at IPL 9 opening

The Indian Premier League is all set to kick off its 9th season at NSCI dome on April 8th.

Every year the opening ceremony brings in international artists closer to their Indian fan base and share the stage with Bollywood stars.

This year’s line-up includes American singer Chris Brown, EDM group Major Lazer, English Rapper Fuse ODG and Jamaican-American performer Nailah Thorbourne.

While Major Lazer will be visiting the country for a second time after their gig in February this year, it will be a first for ‘forever’ hit-maker Chris Brown.

The desi touch to the IPL opening will be provided by Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.
