Dilip Kumar admitted in city’s Lilavati hospital after respiratory problems
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra early in the morning today.
As per the doctor, Dilip Kumar had fever on Friday night due to which he vomited a few times and was then brought to the hospital for respiratory problems at around 2.30 am.
Though the 93-year-old actor is out of ICU, doctors are keeping a close watch on him.
Known as the ‘tragedy king’, the actor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Jwar Batta’ in 1944. In 2015, Dilip Kumar was honoured with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award, by Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
In a career spanning over six decades, Kumar starred in films such as Andaz, Aan, Devdas and the historical Mughal-e-Azam.
