Not a 15 second anymore! Instagram videos to last for a minute

Facebook-owned photo-sharing app Instagram has decided to extends its video limit to 60 seconds

Packed with new features, Facebook-owned photo-sharing app Instagram will release its iOS and Android update today.

In new version, Instagram brings to you fun, flexible and creative ways to create and watch videos. And this time, the videos will be longer – one minute long to be precise.

Earlier, only advertisers could create minute-long videos while the general users were restricted to just 15 seconds of fun. “As part of our continued commitment, you’ll soon have the flexibility to tell your story in up to 60 seconds of video,” Instagram revealed on its blog.

Instagram also allow users to club multiple clips/images from camera roll and compile short videos.
Today’s update adds to the series of modifications the photo-sharing app is making to revamp itself and keep people glued to its feeds.

In the recent past Instagram changed arrangement of posts on feeds and added the Discover People feature.
