In the first list, a total of 1,84,977 candidates have been allotted seats out of the 2,22,622 students that applied. The second and third merit lists for the admission will be declared on July 4 and July 11 respectively.

With limited seats and an increasing number of students applying each year, most popular colleges across the three streams have witnessed a marginal rise in the cut-off percentages. The cut-off percentages for the Arts and Commerce streams, however, have risen more than that of the Science stream.

According to college faculties, the top 3-5 colleges across each stream will likely finish their open-category seats after the second merit list is announced.

After the first list, a total of 47,648 students managed to get the college of their preference. Apart from them, 22,348 and 16,007 other students were allotted their second and third preference colleges. Students can either confirm their seats in the college they’ve been allotted or wait for the other lists.
