After being the face of 13 brands, Kohli makes it to Rs 100 crore club

After endorsing 13 brands, Virat Kohli has joined Rs 100 crore bandwagon. Kohli joined the mainstream endorsements world with Rs 10 crore deal with German sports goods giant Adidas in 2014. His second advertising venture was a Rs 6.5 crore-per-year deal with MRF, the largest manufacturer of tyres in India.
Apart from them, the cricketing champion is the face of Pepsi, Audi, Flying Machine, Control, Vicks, Boost, USL, TVS, Smaash, Nitesh Estates, Tissot, Herbalife and Colgate.
Interestingly both Dhoni and Kohli are at par with the breed of young Bollywood actors but lag behind the likes of Ranbir Kapoor and the Khans.
A media report reveals that an animated avatar of Kohli will be launched digitally as part of a series on YouTube Play in May this year along with the launch of merchandise (caps, wrist bands) with Kohli’s logo.
