Nigerian drug peddler held in Kalyan with Rs 12.5 lakh worth of ‘meow meow’

The Unit 3 of Kalyan crime branch, along with officials from Daighar police station, yesterday arrested a Nigerian drug peddler with about 500 grams of banned contraband Mephedrone (MD), popularly known as ‘meow meow’.

The seizure is expected to be worth Rs 12.5 lakh in international market

Identified as Okayo, the accused was planning to sell the drugs in Diva, Shil Phata and Daighar areas.

The Daighar police have booked him under the NDPS Act.
