Fire breaks out at Metro House in Colaba

Around 4 pm on Thursday, a fire broke out at Metro House near Regal Cinema in Colaba. The building houses popular eateries like Mondegar Cafe and McDonalds.
Within a span of 20 minutes, eight fire tenders reached the spot.
As of 4:45, no casualties have been reported.
Further details regarding casualties and cause of fire are awaited.
Update (4:55 pm): The fire is confined to the 4th floor of the five storey building. 10 fire tenders are on the spot.
Update (5:25 pm): Fire marshals have managed to douse the fire. No update on casualties.
Update (5:32 pm): 3 people have been rescued successfully from the building. Other residents have been evacuated.
