‘Angoori’ wants to see Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hai producer banned
In a combative mode, actress Shilpa Shinde, popularly known as Angoori Bhabhi, has filed a police complaint against the Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) for banning her from working with any broadcaster after her spat with the Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hai producer Binaifer Kohli.
Furious with the ban, Shilpa told a city newspaper that CINTAA has no right say she’s unprofessional. “I told them about my problems with the producers but they didn’t do anything. Now when we have gone legal, they don’t have the right to pass any such order. They have no right to stop me from working,” she said.
Shilpa also added that she is not doing Kapil Sharma’s new comedy show because of the emotional game that producer Binaifer has played by gathering all other producers on her side.
Determined to take Binaifer to task, Shilpa said she will fight the case. “They are trying to scare me but I am not afraid. Unke show ka band baja hai. They thought they could get me back easily but then I am made of stronger stuff.”
Shilpa doesn’t seem to be in a mood to settle it now. “It is impossible to settle the matter. I will not leave the producer. I want such producers banned from the industry,” asserted.
