Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Raghav Raman 2.0 to be screened at Cannes 2016

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of serial killer in Raghav Raman 2.0

Raman Raghav 2.0, a thriller helmed by Anurag Kashyap, is all set to premiere at the upcoming 69th Cannes International Film Festival. The film is based on psychopathic serial killer Raman Raghav, who terrorised the streets of Mumbai in the mid-1960s.

The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the titular role alongside ‘Masaan’ actor Vicky Kaushal.

Raghav Raman 2.0, is not Kashyap’s first film to make it to the prestigious Cannes. In the past, his films ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Peddlers’, and ‘Bombay Talkies’ have also premiered at the awards gala.

The 2016 Cannes International Film Festival is scheduled to take place from May 11 till May 22.

Raman Raghav 2.0 is slated for a May 27 release in India.
