Salman professes his love for SRK in Haryanvi
Bollywood’s biggest superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, aren’t just buddies anymore. They’ve transcended beyond that.
After their public fallout a few years back, who could have thought that the two would one day be seen making joint appearances, cycling together and professing their love for the other in their movies.
But, cut to the present, we come across new reports of their growing ‘dosti’ everyday. Most recently, the two were spotted on the streets of Bandra spending some quality time while riding their bicycles. SRK’s son Aryan Khan had also joined them for the ride.
Now, a recently released teaser of Salman’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’ has given us more proof of their growing camaraderie.
In the dialogue Salman’s character, the Haryanvi wrestler, professes his love for Shah Rukh Khan.
In the film, Salman’s coach questions his dedication towards wresting by asking, “Tu yahan pehelwani karne aaya hai ya romance, apne aap ko Shah Rukh Khan samjhe hai (Have you come here to wrestle or romance)?”
To which, the character sincerely replies, “Shah Rukh Khan ka majjak na udao. Shah Rukh manne bahut pasand hai (Don’t make fun of Shah Rukh Khan, I like him a lot).”
He even adds, “Jab woh ladki ke aankh mein aankh daal ke dekhe na, toh andhi ladki bhi patt jawe (When Shah Rukh looks straight into the eyes of a girl, even a blind girl can fall in love with him).”
What’s more, we’ve learnt that it was the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor’s idea to include the dialogue in the film. While his idea, as we can clearly see, made it to the final cut, the rumoured guest appearance of SRK in the film failed to materialise.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and starring Anushka Sharma as the female lead, ‘Sultan’ is set for a July 6 release.
