Deepika and Vin Diesel in The Return Of Xander Cage
The trailer of Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ released this Wednesday and we’re happy to report it’s every bit as good as we thought it was going to be.
The trailer is everything one would expect from a Vin Diesel action flick- lots of action, lots of Vin Diesel and lots of witty one-liners. Diesel jumps from a tower, skates through the jungle and shows of his physique as effortlessly as he did in the previous installments.
As far as Deepika’s trailer time is concerned, it’s minimal at best. She appears in three scenes in the trailer, but she does leave an impression every time she does.
The trailer also features Samuel L Jackson and Ruby Rose.
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is the third film of the franchise after xXx (2002) and xXx: State of the Union (2005). Diesel was in the first film, but had to back out of the second one due to date issues.
Directed by DJ Caruso, the film also stars Tony Jaa, Donnie Yen, Nina Dobrev and Rory McCann.
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is set to release on January 20, 2017.
