Portion of two-storeyed building collapses in Colaba, 3 seriously injured

Three labourers who were working inside a ground plus two-storeyed under construction MHADA building near Colaba Market sustained serious injuries after the portion of the structure collapsed this afternoon.

The part of second floor of Badwariya Mansion at Lala Nigam Road collapsed around 3 pm, while the repair work was underway. Nearby fire engines were rushed on the spot, and pulled out the workers trapped under the debris.

The three workers were rushed to the St. George Hospital, and it is said two of the workers were in critical condition.
