Minutes after the mishap, while other motorists were helping the injured drivers and a large crowd had gathered around the spot, another accident took place on the same spot.

Rewale, who heading from Dadar to Lower Parel, was rushed to KEM Hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The bus driver, meanwhile, was detained and charged with rash & negligent driving.

Some eye-witnesses claimed that Rewale was distracted by the sight of the damaged cars, which caused him to lose control of his two-wheeler.
