2 dead, 2 missing after portion of Zaveri Bazaar building collapses

At least two people were killed, while two others are believed to be trapped underneath the debris, after a building collapsed in Sam Street, Zaveri Bazaar around 2 pm on Friday.
The slab of the 4-storey MHADA building collapsed when the repair work of the nearby Shimpi Chawl building was underway. One of the deceased has been identified as Firoz Khan, while the other is yet to be identified.
Search and rescue operations were underway to find the remaining person.
