Dentist found dead in Andheri flat, suicide suspected

A 31-year-old dentist allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her flat in MIDC, Andheri.

The dentist, identified as Swati Shigwan, was a resident of Green Field Building in Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area of Andheri (East).

Her decomposed body was found hanging inside her flat around 7.30 pm on Thursday evening.

According to sources, a suicide note was recovered from the house in which the doctor took responsibility for her actions.

The police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the matter and started the investigation.
