Daddy’s coming home for 28 days; Gawli gets parole on medical grounds

The decks have been cleared for underworld don Arun Gawli to return home, though for a limited time period since he will be out on a ‘furlough’.

Currently lodged in Nagpur Central Jail, Gawli has been given a 28-day parole on medical grounds.

Popularly known as Daddy by the locals, the don will reach his Dagdi Chawl residence by the end of this week or early next week.

Gawli is serving life imprisonment for the murder of Shiv Sena corporator Kamlakar Jamsandekar.
