Designer accuses Mika Singh of sexual assault, Versova police file FIR

On Tuesday, Versova police filed an FIR against popular Bollywood and Punjabi singer Mika Singh for allegedly molesting and sexually assaulting a designer.
The 32-year old designer has claimed that the actor misbehaved with her when she visited his house for a work related commitment on Tuesday morning.
Based on the designer’s complaint, Versova police have booked Mika under sections 354, 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
An officer from Versova police station also told DNA, “There they reportedly entered in some heated argument after which there was a scuffle between them, alleged the victim in her complaint. The victim later approached Versova police station and lodged a complaint against the singer.”
This isn’t Mika’s first run-in with the law. In 2006, Mika had made headlines for kissing actress Rakhi Sawant. The actress had claimed that the singer had ‘forced’ himself on her.
In 2014, the actor was involved in a hit-n-run, wherein he had knocked down a rickshaw and injured a passenger. In 2016, the ‘Aaj Ki Party’ singer had slapped a doctor at a live concert in South Delhi.
Mika is currently one of the highest paid Bollywood singers with hits like “Bas Ek King” (Singh Is Kinng), “Mauja Hi Mauja” (Jab We Met), “Ibn-e-Batuta” (Ishqiya), “Dhinka Chika” (Ready), “Desi Beat” (Body Guard), “Subah Hone Na De” (Desi Boyz) and more in his repertoire.
