Mantralaya workers protest assault by MLA, go on a flash strike

Employees at Mantralaya go on a flash strike

Achalpur-based independent MLA Bachchu Kadu, allegedly manhandled an official at Mantralaya earlier today. Post the assault, government employees at Mantralaya went on a flash strike to condemn the act and demanded action against Kadu.

The victim has been identified as Maharashtra Government’s Deputy Secretary Bhausaheb Gavit.

Bhausaheb Gavit is currently at Marine Drive Police station to lodge an FIR against Kadu. Kadu however has denied assault charges.
