Juhu police arrest man for climbing inside Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow
On Sunday, Juhu police arrested a man for trespassing into Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow.
The incident happened on Sunday afternoon when fans had gathered outside Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow, Jalsa, to get a glimpse of the actor. The legendary actor has been known to make a public appearance every Sunday, provided he is in town.
While everyone else was waiting for Sr. Bachchan to appear, the fan entered the bungalow by climbing the outer wall and jumping inside.
However, as soon as he jumped inside the premises, he was apprehended by the actor’s security guards. The guards later handed the accused, identified as Banwarilal, over to Juhu police.
During interrogation, the Nehru Nagar resident confessed that he wanted to meet Bachchan to show him the script of a Bhojpuri song he had written.
He was booked under section 447 (criminal trespassing) of the Indian Penal Code and produced in court today.
In the past, there have been multiple instances where fans have tried to enter the premises of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow ‘Mannat’ in Bandra. However, they have all been futile.
