A 28-year-old accused in a theft case allegedly escaped from the lock-up of the Nalasopara police station on Saturday morning by breaking through the roof.
Rizwan Manir, a resident of Dahisar, was arrested by the Palghar local crime branch at around 6 pm on Friday in connection with a theft case registered with the Valiv police in Nalasopara (East) in 2012.
