Youth commits suicide by jumping in front of local train at Bandra station

In a tragic incident, an unidentified youth ended his life by jumping in front of a local train at Bandra station on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 3:30 pm at Bandra station, when the youth lunged himself in front of the approaching local train on platform number 5. The youth died on the spot.

Railway Police have recovered the body and sent it to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, cops are also trying to establish the identity of the deceased.

Last month, another youth had ended his life by jumping in front of the Virar-Churchgate local at Bhayander station. Back in June, a man in his 40s had committed suicide at Vikhroli station by jumping in front of a Ambernath-bound fast train.
