Does your college have a principal? 433 MU-affiliated colleges don’t

In a shocking revelation, Education Minister Vinod Tawde has said that there are 433 colleges affiliated with Mumbai University that don’t have a principal.

Tawde revealed the information in a written reply to a query. Tawde also stated that over 385 research proposals in 63 subjects were awaiting approval at Mumbai University as the Research Recognition Committee (RCC) has been dissolved.

The government has now directed the academic council of the varsity to take appropriate action in this regard.
