Complaint filed against Tiger Shroff at Versova Police station
Last week, reports of Tiger Shroff being signed on for Sabbir Khan’s next titled ‘Munna Micheal’, produced by Viki Rajani and NextGen Films, surfaced in media.
But, before the film could even go on floors, a Lokhandwala-based filmmaker, Kritik Kumar Pandey, has accused actor Tiger Shroff and director Sabbir Khan of stealing the script of their upcoming collaboration.
Pandey claims that Sabbir Khan, alongwith Tiger Shroff and producer Madhu Mantena, stole his script for the film ‘Munna Michael’. The writer-director has also lodged a complaint against the actor and makers at the Versova police station in accordance with his claim.
The filmmaker also issued a statement to the press which reads, “Hi, this is Kritik Kumar; a director by profession. Recently I became victim of a fraud event. Mr Tiger Shroff with the help of Mr Sabbir Khan, Caa Kwan talent and Viki Rajani did fraud with me.”
Further accusing the ‘Heropanti’ actor of stealing his idea, he said, “Mr Tiger Shroff took my story a year back and kept taking all the details of my project ‘M J Return’. He even took the teaser of my film with the commitment of working on it with me. But now he has announced another film ‘Munna and Michael’ which is totally my film and my story. He just changed the name of film from MJ Return to ‘Munna and Michael.’ In this context I have lodged a complaint in Versova police station.”
