Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh blessed with a baby girl

On July 28, Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh became proud parents of a baby girl. The news of their becoming a parent was confirmed by Harbhajan’s mother Avtar Kaur.
Geeta, who is presently in London with her family, welcomed her baby girl in the UK city a few hours back. The model had even celebrated her rather special baby shower in London.
At the time, the couple had said that Geeta will be staying in UK for the next few months. However, she is expected to return to India in October.
Avtar Kaur broke the news to leading Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar. According to the report, the ecstatic grandmother congratulated Harbhajan and Geeta over the phone. Both Geeta and the newborn are completely healthy.
The family is yet to release a picture of the newborn girl.
Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra tied the knot on October 29, 2015 in a lavish wedding ceremony in Jalandhar, attended by everyone from renowned Bollywood celebrities to noted cricket personalities.
As of 2 pm on Thursday, neither Harbhajan nor Geeta have shared the news on their respective social media accounts.
