‘Pratyusha was shattered after she learnt that Rahul has 9-year-old son’
The suicide case of television star Pratyusha Banerjee is getting darker by the day as every new revelation being made during the course of investigation is more startling than the previous one.
According to reports, Pratyusha’s friend and producer Vikas Gupta has claimed that Rahul has a 9-year old son from his earlier marriage.
Even the late actress’ father has said that Pratyusha was completely shattered when she learnt that Rahul had a son from an earlier relationship. The actress reportedly came to know about it a few weeks before she allegedly killed herself.
However, Rahul’s brother Kunal Singh has refuted the allegation. “How come we don’t know that my brother has a son nine-years-ago?” he questioned adding that if Rahul indeed has a son, he would like to see nephew.
Meanwhile, Rahul has got some respite from the court, as the Bombay HC has accepted his anticipatory bail plea, but with some conditions.
Though he won’t be arrested by the police for six days, he’ll have to appear before Bangur Nagar police every day between 11 am to 1 pm till April 18 for further investigation.
On April 1, Pratyusha was found hanging at the Goregaon residence that she shared with Rahul, following which the police booked him under Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC.
