FYJC 2018 Round 1: Cut-off percentages Top 25 Mumbai colleges
The office of the Deputy Director of Education (DyDE) has uploaded the cut-off list for colleges in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region under round one of First Year Junior College (FYJC) 2018 admissions on its online portal.
The first general merit list for FYJC 2018 aspirants was declared on July 5. The department had allotted students time from July 6 to 9 to confirm admissions under the first round.

However, in the wake of incessant rainfall, the deadline to confirm admissions was first pushed to July 10, and later extended till July 11. Interested students now have time till 5 pm today to visit the allotted college and pay the fee to confirm their seat.
The department also released a revised FYJC 2018 timetable for Mumbai and Nagpur divisions in the wake of unforeseen delays.
Round 1: Cut-off percentages of top 25 Mumbai colleges
For the admission year 2018-19, the first round cut-off percentages of top Mumbai colleges are given below:

Note: The aforementioned percentages are based on the Round 1 cut-off list uploaded on the department’s admission portal.
As expected, most top colleges witnessed a slight rise in the cut-off percentages this year on account of more students scoring top marks across all SSC, ISCE and CBSE boards.
On average, the top colleges across Science, Arts, and Commerce saw their first-round cut-off percentages increase by anywhere between 1-3 percent.
Checking cut-off list
Based on the seats allotted in the first merit list, the department put up the cut-off list for round one on its admission portal.

Note: For convenience, students can save an offline copy and search for their respective colleges there.
Round 2
Students who wish to apply for colleges in the second round can do so by filling the admission form again. In the second round, applicants will have the option of selecting a new list of preferred colleges.
Further, based on the number of students that confirm admissions in the first round, the department will also announce a vacancy list of city colleges tomorrow. The list will contain the number of available seats, on the basis of which students can take an informed decision on which colleges to prioritise in round two.
Important Dates:
July 12 (11 am): Declaration of vacancy list
July 12-13 (6 pm): Deadline for filling admission form for Round 2 (students can edit option form)
July 16 (11 am): Declaration of second general merit list
July 16-18 (5 pm): Confirming admission under Round 2
