Fire at oldest red light area in South Mumbai, Congress House evacuated

A major fire erupted at South Mumbai’s popular red light area, the Congress House, last evening.

The fire started at the third floor of building number 419, following which the entire building was evacuated.

Fire tenders reached the spot on time and doused the flames. No casualty was reported in the incident.

Short-circuit in the room is believed to be the reason behind the fire.
