After Kate Middleton photo fiasco, miscreants hack TOI’s twitter handles
A day after making the Royal Blunder of publishing Kate Middleton’s upskirt photograph – while she was paying homage to martyred soldiers at the Amar Jawan Jyoti – on its front page, Times of India’s twitter accounts were hacked by miscreants.
This morning, Prasad Sanyal, the editor of the newspaper, claimed that the newspapers official twitter handles were hacked by a group called Phantom Squad.
Sanyal tweeted, “Our handles @TOISportsNews and @TOIIndiaNews were hacked by people calling themselves the Phantom Squad. We condemn this act of mischief.”

But instead of some empathy, twitterati began trolling him for the quality of journalism that the publication practices.
