From Alia Bhatt to John Abraham, Bollywood goes bonkers over ‘Prisma’
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you’ve probably heard about ‘Prisma’. An app that’s become quite a rage among the ‘cool kids’ nowadays.
If you haven’t, well, Prisma is a nifty little mobile app that was launched on iOS on June 11 and subsequently launched on Android on July 24. The app claims to transform your photos into works of art using the styles of famous artists: Van Gogh, Picasso, Levitan and more.
If you’re wondering what’s so special about an app that does the same job as an ‘Instagram filter’, here’s what you need to know – it’s brilliant artistically, it has transformed over 400 million images and got close to 11 million downloads since launch.
In fact, if it hadn’t been for Pokemon Go, Prisma would have been the biggest new launch of the year.
Since the app has become a worldwide phenomenon, it’s safe to say that India isn’t far behind when it comes to the app’s popularity. But, what’s pushing the Prisma fan following into overdrive in India is it’s Bollywood connect.
If you are a Bollywood junkie, your Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds must be littered with celebrities showing off their ‘prismed’ pictures. If you’re not, you’ll be surprised to see the number of celebs that have jumped on to the ‘Prisma bandwagon’ since its launch last month.
Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a list of the best ‘prismed’ pictures of Bollywood celebs below:
