Badshah and Yuvraj Singh to rap together, feature in a music video
Punjabi rapper Badshah, who is among the most sought-after singers in Bollywood today, will soon collaborate with cricketer Yuvraj Singh in an upcoming single.
Badshah, who burst out on the music scene in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh as a part of his group Mafia Mundeer, has come a long way since he split from the group in 2012. Since making his Bollywood singing debut in the subsequent year, he gained immense popularity following the release of chartbusters like ‘Saturday Saturday’ in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’ in Khoobsurat, both released in the year 2014.
Following which, he has lent his voice for movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sanam Re, Kapoor & Sons and Sultan. His track also features in Ajay Devgn’s upcoming directorial ‘Shivaay’.
After collaborating with a host of Punjabi singers like Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal, Manj Musik and Raftaar, the rapper is set to collaborate with cricketer Yuvraj Singh. The duo will reportedly rap for an upcoming single and feature in its music video.
Yuvraj and Badshah met in Delhi last week to finalize the details of the music video, while the latter was on a tour of the capital.
While we don’t know what the track will be called, reports confirm that the duo will be in Mumbai to shoot for the video in September.
