Cine and TV Artistes’ Association slaps lifetime ban on ‘Angoori Bhabhi’
If reports are to be believed, Shilpa Shinde aka ‘Angoori Bhabi’ from popular TV show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ has been slapped with a lifetime ban following her “unprofessional” conduct.
The ban has been imposed by Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA).
It is said that Shilpa had been throwing tantrums on the sets lately, and has also asked for her fee to be revised. Later, she left the show mid-way. Miffed with her unprofessional behaviour and high handed attitude the production house approached CINTAA for help.
The association ordered Shilpa to resume shooting and report back on the sets of the show, but she refused following which the association has issued a non-cooperation directive against her, which means that the actress can no longer sign any TV show. Moreover, no broadcaster will be allowed to work with the actress.
Speaking to media last month, Shilpa had accused the production house of torture and threats of sabotaging her career.
