After Junooniyat fails to perform, Pulkit takes it out on furniture, producers & cameraman
Lately, actor Pulkit Samrat has been in the news a lot, albeit for reasons other than his films. The actor’s life has been shrouded in controversy since his separation from wife Shweta Rohira. The box-office performance of his last two films have only added to the actor’s woes.
Last week, the actor reportedly left the Delhi house where he was staying with his alleged girlfriend Yami Gautam after the two had a spat. Pulkit and Yami have appeared in two movies together and the couple was rumoured to be dating since shooting for ‘Sanam Re’. Their relation is believed to be the reason behind Pulkit’s separation from his wife.
On Saturday, when the actor was returning from an outstation promotional campaign for Junooniyat with co-actor Yami, he lost his cool on a cameraman who was trying to click his pictures at Santacruz Airport. Pulkit reportedly yelled at the cameraman and was on the verge of throwing his bag towards him, before restraining himself at the last minute.
Now, a new report has come forth claiming that the actor had a tiff with the producers during one of the promotional campaigns for Junooniyat. The actor blamed the producers of holding back and not doing enough for the film’s promotion, leading the film to perform miserably at the box-office.
According to a report on Spotboye, the actor wanted to teach the producers a lesson for not spending enough. The website reports, “So he asked his hairdresser, how much it will cost if he damaged a table or one of the doors of the room. A shocked hairdresser chose not to respond, carrying on with his work instead. Next, he spotted an elaborate Maharaja chair in the room and instantly picked it up to fling it across the room. Not just that, he informed the hotel manager about the chair having broken into pieces and pointedly told him to collect the damages of Rs 50,000 from the producers!”
