If Ranveer’s IIFA acceptance speech doesn’t prove he’s dating Deepika, nothing will

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are possibly the hottest couple in B-town right now. But, it’s a shame that we have to keep referring to them as an ‘alleged couple’ for all intent and purposes.
While there’s absolutely no one who would believe the two aren’t madly in love with each other, the couple has never really been open about their relationship. But between the two, Deepika has always been the more cryptic and Ranveer a more heart-on-sleeve guy who continues to drop hints that leave little to one’s imagination.
And the actor did exactly that while he was accepting his award at the recently held IIFA 2016 awards gala in Madrid. Ranveer, who won the Best Actor award for Bajirao Mastani, went on to say this in his acceptance speech, “There is another special person I must thank. I was moved by her performance. She is the Leela to my Ram, Mastani to my Bajirao and I don’t know what’s next. Girl, you are so fine. Nothing makes me more happier than you, I mean winning an awards here with you.”
Prior to accepting the award, Ranveer was visibly ecstatic after watching Deepika’s power-packed performance and was the first to give a standing ovation.
But, when it was Deepika’s turn to reciprocate, her speech went like this, “I want to thank Juhi (Chaturvedi, Piku writer) who made my performance worthwhile. I thank all spot boys, light men who work so hard behind the scenes. I also thank my team and that special person, you know who you are”. Deepika won the Best Actress award for the film Piku.
Well, the two can continue to play hide-n-seek with the rest of the world. But, at least we know that the recent rumours about their alleged fight and breakup are false at best.
Ranveer even shared a picture of the lovely couple on his photo-sharing account after the awards ceremony.
